Early October, 2000. The puppies were about 5 weeks old. The other puppies loved to play with Bella. It was probably 'cause her belly was smaller and easier to get their mouths around! Bella was definitely an instigator though.

Bella and her brother, Stitches, went to see Dr. Greg Erhman on 10/7/2000 for a checkup. Doctor Greg said she was doing great! Her left eye was still a bit cloudy but her weight was good (5 pounds) and her teeth were coming in well.

Bella gets all the guys. At top she's with Vince who came to take her brother, Backfire, home and brought her a new toy. Dressed in her designer sweatshirt, she cuddled with Dusty. She even got some time in with Don on a cold, cloudy Sunday afternoon.

10/25/00. Top left, Bella gives "pig" another rough workout. She takes time to give Heather "puppy kisses". Then she settles in for a nap with sister, Lacey.

Bella, with her #1 fan and web designer, Lynn. These pictures were taken 4 weeks apart — one on October 15th and the other on November 13th. Bella has gotten to be quite an armful!

October 31, 2000 — Bella came trick-or-treating in her angel costume to Lynn's house. She is shown here with Lynn, Julianne, Nancy and John.

November 4, 2000, with Nancy.

November 13, 2000 — everyone gets to go see Dr. Greg.

Dr. Greg gave Bella a full checkup so she can travel.
She weighed in at 15¼ pounds!

Is it time to go yet???

November 19 — Bella visits her friend, Kristin, in the hospital. Bella was very cuddly and Kristin really enjoyed the company.
