Cecilia was born in Agoo, La Union, Philippines on April 23, 1967. She is the youngest of three girls and also has 3 brothers. Her favorite pastime as a kid was acting as the MC of a beauty pageant with her best friend Jacque and other kids in the town. Cecilia came to the U.S. April 29, 1994 to join her parents who had lived in California for 10 years.

Cecilia decided she wanted to be a nurse when she was about 7 yrs old. She fell in love with the white uniform, especially the caps. To her the nurses were so pretty . She became a Registered Nurse in the Philippines.The area of nursing she enjoy most is working in the Medical/Surgical section because of the complexity of how the human body works and can be repaired. Cecilia is studying to take the California nurse's exam.
 

Chris was born on March 10, 1961 in Glendale, California and grew up in the nearby town of Tujunga until his family moved to a local resort town. Chris has 3 sisters. His favorite childhood memories are family outings, and time with Grandma Nick

Chris has a 13 year old daugher named Jacquelyn. He currently works for Silicon Graphics and is also with the Air National Guard.
 

Chris and Cecilia met through their friends, Tess and Jim. Tess works with Cecilia at the hospital and Jim works with Chris with the Air National Guard. Tess gave Chris Cecilia's number and they talked for a while before deciding to meet in person. Their first date was out to dinner and the rest is history.

 
When asked what she likes most about Chris, Cecilia says: "I enjoy his sense of humor, he makes me laugh all the time." Chris says: "I enjoy her loving/kind heart and the closeness she shares with her family." What are their future plans together? "We are planning on living in San Jose for a few more years, have 2 healthy children then possibly move to Southern California."
